Overview
Shrikhand Mahadev is the most toughest pilgrimage in India. This abode of lord Shiva is
situated in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh at height of 17,150 ft (5227 meters) above sea
level. It takes almost 7 days to complete and has one of the scintillating views. The trail is very
challenging and flora and fauna is found on the trek which makes it more beautiful. The view
from the peak is breathtaking. July to September is the best time to attempt the Shrikhand
Mahadev trek.
Kinnaur Kailash is a religious and a spiritual trek in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The
nearest town is Kalpa. The views that offer from the top of the Kinnaur Kailash trekking are
breathtaking. It is one of the toughest pilgrimages in India. Kinnaur Kailash is situated in the
heart of the most mythical abodes of Lord Shiva with 79 feet vertical rock located at a height
of more than 15,000ft. Shivaling changes colours during the course of day. As per mythology,
Lord Shiva used conduct meeting with Gods and Goddesses here at Kinnaur Kailash.

Chandigarh Railway Station (CDG) connects the city to several major cities. The New Delhi
Chandigarh Shatabdi Express is a popular option, taking approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Chandigarh is accessible via National Highways NH5, NH7, and NH22. Buses operated by various
State Road Transport Corporations connect Chandigarh to neighboring states. The city has two
main bus terminals: ISBT Sector 17 and ISBT Sector 43.
