Overview

Manimahesh Kailash Trek is a scenic trek full of spirituality in Himachal Pradesh. It is a religious
and sacred place for Hindu People. The lake is a high altitude lake situated at 4080 meters
(13,390ft) very close to the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas in
Chamba District. Pilgrims across the country come to this lake to do the yatra.
Manimahesh lake is considered a very religious and pilgrimage trek is under taken during the
month of August/September corresponding to the month of Bhadon according to the Hindu
Calendar on the eighth days of the New Moon Period. The pilgrim is also called Manimahesh Yatra.
There are many places on the way to Manimahesh that as Dhancho waterfall, Gaurikund. Gauri is
the name given for Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva. It was believed that Parvati used to take used
to baths in this lake and only ladies are allowed. No one has ever been able to scale mount
Manimahesh and it remains a mystery to human eyes.

Day 01 Pickup from Pathankot drive to bharmour,Trek to Bharmani Mata temple.

*Altitude: 7000ft.|Bharmour

Day 02 Drive to Hadsar, Trek to Dhancho 2280m/7500ft (Trek7km, 4-5 hrs)

*Early morning, visit to Chaurasi temple.

* Overnight stay, followed by dinner
