The itinerary’s highlight includes two challenging but scenic drives across legendary high mountain passes: Khardung-la (18,380 ft) and Changla (17,500 ft.). These passes serve as gateways to the region’s natural wonders, including the serene Nubra Valley, where guests enjoy a unique double-humped camel safari amidst Hunder’s sand dunes, and the breath-taking Pangong Lake, famous for its constantly changing colours, where an overnight camp stay is scheduled. Day 01 Arrival and Essential Rest in Leh

Upon landing at the airport, you will be promptly transported to your lodging for check-in.

The remainder of the day is dedicated to relaxation and adjusting to the elevated climate.

Use the free time to gently explore the Leh township and begin familiarizing yourself with the environment.

Note: Please note, a minimum stay of 2 days in Leh is mandatory to adjust to the high altitude before proceeding to further destinations.

Day 02 Local Leh Wonders and Scenic Sunset

Following breakfast, embark on a half-day tour visiting significant local landmarks.

Discover the Hall of Fame, pay respects at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, experience the optical illusion of the Magnetic Hill, and witness the spectacular Sangam View where the mighty Indus and Zanskar rivers converge.

Drive back to your hotel after the sightseeing circuit.

Ascend to the Leh Palace and conclude the day with a memorable sunset experience at the revered Shanti Stupa.

Day 03 Scaling Khardungla and Desert Valley Experience

After an early morning meal, commence the drive toward the spectacular Nubra Valley.

The route includes a stop at Khardung-la Pass, famously recognized as the planet's highest motorable road (Altitude: 18,380 ft).

Arrive in Nubra Valley (historically known as Ldorma), nestled between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges.

Explore the beautiful and renowned Diskit Monastery, featuring the impressive 100 foot tall statue of Maitreya Buddha, offering panoramic valley views.

Later in the day, enjoy a unique double-humped (Bactrian) camel safari across the sandy terrain of Hunder (at own cost)

Day 04 Journey to the Hypnotic Pangong Lake

Depart after breakfast for the cross-country drive to Pangong Lake, traversing Shyok, Durbuk, and Tangste settlements.

The lake is situated in the Changthang region, east of Leh, and is celebrated as one of Asia's most captivating water bodies.

It is famous for its distinct feature of changing its hue multiple times throughout the day.

Settle in and spend the evening absorbing the stunning, tranquil atmosphere surrounding the lake.

Day 05 Monastic Trail and Return to Leh

Check out after breakfast and drive back to Leh, crossing the formidable Changla Pass (Altitude: 17,500 ft).

The latter part of the day is free for personal pursuits and relaxation.
