Overview

The Panch Kedar is a pilgrimage to five Shiva temples in Uttarakhand, India. The temples are Kedarnath,
Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath, and Kalpeshwar.
Significance
The Panch Kedar Yatra is a journey to the abodes of Shiva.
The temples are visited in a traditional order.
The Panch Kedar temples are part of the Garhwal Himalayas, also known as the Kedar-Khanda.
The Kedarnath temple is part of the Chota Char Dhams, or the “small four abodes”.
Temples
Kedarnath: The main temple, located in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Snow-capped mountains and dense
woods surround it.
Tungnath: The highest Shiva temple in the world, located at an altitude of 3,680 meters.
Rudranath: Located at 2,200 meters, this temple is considered the easiest to reach of the five.
Madhyamaheshwar: The navel of the bull.
Kalpeshwar: The hair of the bull.
Yatra
After completing the Panch Kedar Yatra, visiting the Badrinath temple is customary to receive blessings
from Lord Vishnu.

Village, and Sagar Village
About Panch Kedar Temples & Yatra It is a pilgrimage journey to five of the most revered temples of Lord Shiva in the Garhwal
