From Manali, the trekkers leave for the starting point of the trek, Jobra. It is an 8-kilometre hike that takes about 6 hours to reach the magical location. The trail is mostly flat. Trekkers are treated to plenty of water sources along the route, which guarantees they stay hydrated the entire time. This is the coldest part of the trek. It\u2019s a 7 km long, 10-hour hike. Getting water is challenging as it totally depends on the snow conditions. The first hour of the hike is a steady incline, followed by a steep ascent to the pass. This section of the trip is about 7 km long and takes about 5 hrs to finish. Trekkers are met with a striking contrast in landscape as they reach Shea Goru. The landscape transforms into Lahaul\u2019s barren valley, which feels like a scene straight out of every mountain lover\u2019s fantasy. Views of the Pir-Panjal Range, the Lahaul and Spiti ranges, and the majestic Lahaul range unfold from Shea Goru.<\/p><p>The journey continues to the Chhatru campground, from where trekkers take a drive to Chandratal Lake. Situated in the Lahaul and Spiti region, Chandratal Lake is an incredible sight. It is an extremely captivating location with emerald blue waters and a backdrop of desert mountains. The trekkers\u2019 visit to this magnificent lake is the icing on the cake. With this, another amazing day on the Hampta Pass comes to an end as the expedition spends the night in Chhatru after concluding another unforgettable day on the Hampta Pass.<\/p><h3><b>Day-5, Chhatru to Manali via Atal tunnel<\/b><\/h3><p>Last day of the Hampta Pass Trek begins with a substantial breakfast to prepare them for the journey ahead. Following breakfast, the group sets on a scenic drive to Manali via the renowned Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley.
