Dayara Bugyal trek is perhaps one of the shorter hikes on the Himalayas although nothing in short
\nto produce high rewards. The enchanting views of snow capped peaks, sprawling meadows and
\nencompassing thrill of a summit. Dayara an alpine meadow, locally called \u201cBugyal\u201d
\nis surrounded by dense alpine forest, elevated and spread above 11000 ft.
\nLocation wise it is in the district of Uttarkashi, Garhwal division, Uttarakhand.<\/p>\n

In the summer and monsoon the stretch of the lush meadow is dotted with myriads of tiny
\nflowers. During winters the meadow is covered with fresh snow. The crest of the Bugyal is a top
\ncalled Bakriya top offering a magnificent 360\u00b0 panoramic view.<\/p>\n

In addition of Gangotri region peaks, you can also see the of mighty Himalayan peaks of Bhilangana
\nrange. Some of the notable are Bandarpoonch, Jaonli, Rudragaira, Srikanth, Gangotri\u2013 I, II and
\nmore. No wonder that Dayara Bugyal is an enchanting trail and adored by amateur and veteran
\ntrekkers alike.<\/p>\n

How to Reach <\/strong>
\nRaithal is the base village and trek starting point. Raithal is 180km from Dehradun. Dehradun is
\nwell connected to all major cities of the country.<\/p>\n

Nearest Railway Station:<\/strong> Dehradun is the closest railway station.<\/p>\n

\nis 275km from Dehradun. Book a cab to reach Dehradun or overnight Volvo is most convenient
