The view from the peak is<br \/>\nbreathtaking. July to September is the best time to attempt the Shrikhand Mahadev trek.<br \/>\nThe peak resembles Shivaling and it was believed that Lord Shiva meditated<br \/>\nand the Pandavas used to visit this peak. According to administration, Shivaling is around 75 foot<br \/>\nlong and 46 foot in breadth.
